How do I become a provider?
Register as a provider, complete verification, choose your service categories, and set your service radius. You’ll start receiving matching job notifications you can quote on.
How and when do I get paid?
When a customer accepts your quote, their payment goes into escrow. Once the job is confirmed complete, the funds (minus the platform commission) are released to your wallet and paid out to your account.
What does it cost to join?
Creating a provider profile is free. Hire Pross takes a commission only on completed jobs, so you only pay when you get paid.
Getting Started
How does Hire Pross work?
Post your job for free, describe what you need, and set your location and budget. Verified local professionals send you quotes. Compare their trust scores and reviews, chat to ask questions, then hire the one you like. Your payment is held safely in escrow and only released when the job is done right.
Is it free to post a job?
Yes. Posting a job and receiving quotes is completely free for customers. You only pay for the work itself, and that payment is protected by escrow until you confirm the job is complete.
Do I have to accept a quote?
Never. Quotes come with no obligation. Compare as many as you like, ask questions, and only hire when you find the right fit.
Payments & Escrow
What is escrow and how does it protect me?
Escrow means your payment is held securely by the platform after you accept a quote — not paid directly to the provider. The funds are only released once you confirm the work is finished to your satisfaction, so you never pay upfront for work that isn’t done.
When is the professional paid?
The provider is paid from escrow once you confirm completion. If you don’t respond within the inspection window, funds auto-release so pros are paid fairly for completed work.
Can I get a refund?
If a job isn’t completed as agreed, you can raise an issue before releasing payment. Because funds sit in escrow, disputes are resolved before money changes hands.
Trust & Verification
How are professionals verified?
Every provider is ID-verified (Level 1). Higher tiers add business, licence, and insurance checks (Level 2) and criminal background checks for sensitive work (Level 3). Look for the verification badge on each profile.
What is a trust score?
The trust score is a dynamic rating built from many signals — completed jobs, reviews, reliability, responsiveness and verification level — not just a star average. It helps you quickly gauge who to hire.
Are reviews genuine?
Reviews can only be left after a real, completed booking, and our system filters manipulation. That keeps ratings honest and useful.
